Alvaro Villarrubia is spanish photographer (1964). He started his career photographing 1980´s pop stars for album covers and concert posters. He has shot celebrity portraits and fashion spreads for Spanish publications: El Mundo (Magazine), El Pais, Neo2, Vanidad, Tendencias, Man, international magazines: SHÖN! (United Kindom), Paris Match, French Vogue, Marie Claire (Italy), Elle (Italy).
Alvaro Villarrubia’s photographs have been exhibited in ARCO, FotoEspaña, Canal de Isabel II, Estampa, Injuve and the Comunidad de Madrid, the Contemporary Art Museum of Castilla and Leon.
